Imagination is Everything!
Except fr the teeth it’s finished. As we speak the teeth are in and all masks ship this Monday!

Yesterday was a better day for getting actual work done in the studio. I was able to paint both masks and finished the Sightings mask complete with the transparent eyes.
The Apes mask is painted and today it gets it’s hair and teeth and it is also finished. Both masks ship on Monday in plenty of time for Halloween.
I had a bit of time to work further on the Laser blast figure. A little more painting. Still much to do but it’s looking the part.
I need a weekend and rest for next week. Next week I’ll finish off the Laser Blast figures and ship those which opens things up for new projects.

So today was a cluster f**k of a day. Between having many stops at different stores for supplies we didn’t get to the studio until 2 in the afternoon. Watching Bill Shatner go to space also had an effect on the day because Mary and I didn’t want to miss such an historic event. It was well worth it.
I had a little time so I started working on the first Laser blast casting. I did some sanding and prep work for painting and got the basic colors on. Tomorrow I’ll do the detailed painting and shading. I’ll paint the hair, eyes, shade the face and make a mold on this little tiny amulet.
I painted the film can based but it needs weathering and age to really look right. The middle where the figure stands will look like desert.

The latest. I love the Lotus Europa. So I turned it into a T-shirt. More news on this soon. I sent this to Blipshift.com and I’m waiting to hear back to see if they will take it on and produce the shirt.
I have bought two of their shirts to date and they have some great T’s you won’t find anywhere else and they are limited addtions.

Yesterday I opened the body mold for the Laser Blast Figure and successfully poured up the first body. No problems found. I have roughly assembled a figure with hands, gun, and a film can base. The film can is a casting of one of the original film cans used in the movie as a base for the control panel on the Laser Blast gun I made for the movie. I thought it would make for an interesting base and tribute.
I pulled the two masks from their molds and trimmed them up. I should be able to start painting today.
I finished another T-shirt design I hope to submit to Blipshift this week.
Great busy day. More tomorrow.

This one is a gallery of my work from my long career spanding over 45 years. I’ll be adding more as I go along and captions. Enjoy! It’s listed in the menu above.

Besides packing and shipping mask I poured up a Sightings alien mask, a Ape mask, and poured some parts from the Laser Blast molds.
I also cast up the mother mold for side two of the body mold. Today it will be opened and and body or two cast up in resin. I can start assembling the first Laser Blast Figure today!
Dead Pool made it to the Gallery for “Mask of the month.”
Great day despite having dental work done at the beginning of that day.

And I got my first fully ready to go print file for the T-Shirt people at BlipShift. This took awhile to make everything is traced, expanded, and layered correctly.

Car Art and soon and gallery of all the creatures, aliens, monsters I’ve done for many movies in my long career.
The car art is hand drawn in Photoshop and soon canvas too. Some of these will be offered commercially on T-shirts and prints for Gear Heads everywhere.

Ships monday to it’s happy home.

Available in the mask collector store.
