Yesterday was pleasant and quiet. I was able to forge ahead on all these orders. The Masks are all painted, although I have yet to glaze the eyes with epoxy for that glossy look or lay the hair on the Salt Vampire which I’ll do first thing in the morning.

I did get Tracy’s Redstone kit started and nearly finished it. Today they will all be done. This means I can get back to the model of the Battlestar upstairs and finish it before I start 2 more commissioned models for a dear friend and supporter.

And…just maybe I can work on some personal projects. Now there’s a concept. The film has been just sitting since I finished the edit. Now it needs the sound work done and score before I can call it done.

Got the Balock out of the mold and I shot video of him coming out of the mold. This will be in the weekend update.  I’ll be painting and finishing masks today.

Thanks to everyone that helped us achieve our goal with Buy Me A Coffee to purchase a much needed laser cutter for our shop. It is so greatly appreciated and such a happy thing after being ripped off and treated like dirt by PayPal.

The latest with them is my case is still under review so they gave me credit by placing a few hundred dollars into my account. But if I don’t win the case I’ll owe them the credit too. What evil bastards. I won’t touch that money or my account ever again.

Moving on.

After all the crap that went on this week it was a great escape and break from reality.

Despite PayPal and its failure to honor my fraud claim, I’m finishing all the orders I have at my own expense and sending them to all of you next week. 

Paypal has no honor and I will never use them again.

All the rocket kits are made up and I just have to finish packing them. Masks are all cast up and I’ve started painting them. The Salt Vampire will be finished Monday with hair and teeth.

Trying to raise funds for a laser cutter I need for the studio. In light of losing my money on paypal to a hacker

I will have to wait a long time to get one now.

Despite my calls to PayPal and their ​alegded reversal of the charges they never terminated my ATM Business card as they said they had and then allowed during the night for the Hacker to run up a negative overdraft balance I refuse to pay. I couldn’t anyway.

​The know and it shows on their records I did not make this purchases to companies I never heard of.​

After 22 years of PayPal I will never use them again. This was a heartbreaker.

Yesterday was an interesting day to say the least. I check my email in the morning and my accounts. I’m very careful and watch closely. Despite that practice someone hacked my PayPal business card.

I keep the card on me at all times and only use it as credit. I don’t use passwords. But to make a long story short for the 3rd time in 22 years I was cleaned out. Worse, I had a negative balance to PayPal meaning I owed them money for purchases I never made.

I will no longer be using Paypal and all the purchases you made-my customers will be honored at my own expense if needed. PayPal is trying to make it right and put my money back. In fact this happened yesterday and I talked to them and they canceled the card but during the night while I slept that card was used again for a 1000 dollars in purchases. In short they screwed up.

So in a few days I’ll have new buttons up for Square. I am taking the PayPal buttons down now. If you can’t wait, send me an email and we will get you an order using a different method.

I did nearly finish the rocket kits yesterday but the day was cut short by this problem and it will today too. I apologize for this short inconvenience and will send your orders out early next week while I clean this mess up.

Lots of work was done on the kits and I got my ink and boxes to ship in the mail last night. It showed up late but showed up nonetheless.

Today I’ll be printing body wraps and decals. Cutting BT80 tubes and packing boxes.

I also poured yet another Cyclops. I have sold a few of these guys now

Today I’ll be working on orders all day as I will most of this week. Hard to get to model building during these surges but things will settle next week.

The Lotus 40 is coming along well. A bit here and a bit there. Made some vinyl decals cut by hand yesterday and soldered up a brass rollbar and a few other details. Loving this trip down memory lane. Really nice basket weaving! Can’t wait to put her on the track.
