Photography

I started with photography as far back as the late 50’s. Yep I had a Kodak Brownie. My grandmother was friends with and worked with Asel Adams. I spent many a dinner and day at Ansel’s house in San Francisco.
In highschool I took photography and learned from one of the best teachers, Anne Sweanie. We had a full darkroom and many cameras. I shot, developed and printed my own photographs.
Today Mary and I own many cameras. All SLRs and good ones at that. We have a lot of lenses and all types of video cameras too.
I’m trying to wean myself off the all too convenient iPhone camera and do some real camera work again. I’m rusty for sure but working with the Nikon SLR I got shot I never would have with the iPhone.
This all comes as a result of Dave Kennedy’s incredible photography. That’s right, other artists inspire other artists like myself. And Dave is a great artist.
Here’s some shots I experimented with today for fun. This could be addictive!
